Star has recently returned from Minyerri in Australia, which is located approximately 270 km south-east of Katherine in the Northern Territory. During her stay, she was humbled to learn that many of the children had never left the town and had never seen the ocean. She painted while she was there and it is needless to say, that she was inspired by the simple beauty that surrounded her. This new series of paintings titled ‘Minyerri’depicts the people of that land. This will be Star’s fourth solo show with PAULNACHE. The exhibition will run until the 31st of July 2010 and has been g enerously supported by Gisborne’s Longbush Wines & Portside Hotel.
