Art has played a long role in Francie Ryan's life and she often feels inspired by something she sees and has a go at painting it. Francie's subject matter varies and she is currently using mainly pastels and acrylics. She is a member of the Gisborne Artist's Society and enjoys time on Wednesdays at Lysnar House for the contact with other artists to share advice and ideas in a supportive environment.
