The Pencil Gallery is the only established art dealer in Gisborne. Established in 2004 by Directors Matthew Nache Clarke & Gene Paul, The Pencil Gallery is an innovative art dealer gallery committed to promoting and exhibiting contemporary art in New Zealand.

The gallery currently represents a number of highly esteemed artists who have a significant exhibition history and whose works are held in private & public collections both nationally and internationally.

In addition to exhibiting new work from our represented artists, the gallery is also host to regular monthly exhibitions by national and international feature artists, which showcase a broad spectrum of fine art, contemporary art and contemporary Maori art.
