Bargain Book Fantasia, October 26 & 27
Wood nymphs, fairies, fairytale characters and other creatures will bring the river end of Peel Street to life for the annual H. B. Williams Memorial Library Book Sale and Market day on Friday and Saturday, October 26 & 27.
The library is bursting at the seams with new titles so it is time to clear the shelves. The sale in Books Cove (the cove-shaped space outside front of library) is an eagerly anticipated annual event for so many, and rightly so, with a plethora of fantastic books on offer.
You can hardly see the wood for the trees in this grotto of books, everyone loves a bargain and there will be plenty of those to be had. Library staff will be dressed to fit in and book bargain-hunters can vote for their best dressed librarian or retailer and win spot prizes for their efforts.
Friday October 26, 9.30am-4pm and Saturday October 27, from 9.30am-12.30pm
