Our View, Exhibition Opening at the Tairawhiti Museum, October 18

This Group Exhibition by Peggy Ericson, Deborah Clarke, and Helena Andersson reflects upon NZ as a country. Each of the artists showcased present their particular view shaped by their own experiences and chosen mediums of work.

Peggy creates a forest of Nikau palms in clay, Deborah's prints feature Young Nicks Head, the dog and Helena reflects upon NZ society from her perspective as an immigrant and coloured by the different places she has resided in, incorporating real pieces of NZ iconography and media into her exquisite jewelry.

The Exhibition opens Thursday, 18 October 5.30 pm at the Tairawhiti Museum and runs until November 25.
