Opportunity for young filmmakers ID360 short film competition

If you're a filmmaker between the ages of 12 and 24, here's an opportunity to tell the rest of the country and our central and local government decision-makers what it means to be a young person in New Zealand today, through film.

Organised by the Ministry of Youth Development, the ID360 Short Film Competition is open to all New Zealanders aged 12-24, as individuals or in teams, with entries closing on 29 February 2008. There are a range of prizes up for grabs, including a people's choice award and prizes over each of three age categories 12-15 years, 16-18 years and 19-24 years, including a grand overall prize. Entry is free.

The winners will be announced by the Minister of Youth Affairs at an awards ceremony at the New Zealand Film Archive on 21 April 2008.
