MAORI TV ANZAC Short Film Competition

The ANZAC Short Film Competition is your chance to tell an ANZAC story and have it broadcast on Māori Television. The competition is open to people of all ages, backgrounds and points of view and entries in all genres will be accepted.

Categories:
Tamariki : Up to Year 8
Rangatahi: Tear 9-13
All ages: Over 18 years.

Short films could be based on an interview with a veteran or someone in your community or whānau who has lived through war time, taken from a diary or letters written by someone in war time or plucked from your imagination.

Your story might be about things that took place in other parts of the world (where New Zealanders served or where other nationalities have been caught up in war) or the experiences of those at home.

So, get some friends together, find a small, personal story that you think would make an interesting short film, find an original way of telling it and get the camera rolling!

Entries should be no longer than five minutes and be submitted to Māori Television on Mini DV tape, DVCAM tape or DVD before 5.30 PM, Friday March 28 2008.

See Maori TV website for entry forms & more info: www.maoritelevision.com
